Lins Blaniks

It all started with Rocky (Blanik Answer) we had lost our girl Cally at the age of 10 and a friend told us about Rocky he had gone back to Rhians who had bred him.Phone calls were made on our behalf and we met Rhian and Rocky for the first time which now was 15 years ago. What a wonderful dog he was not keen on other dogs apart from Lia (Blanik Billi Lee) who was still with Rhian.Lia wasn't a pushy dog and not fitting in with the pack too well.Rhian mentioned it may be better to re home her but hadn't completely decided to.My words were you cant shes Rockys only friend we'll have her.We all had a think about it and then Lia came to live with me Frank and Rocky. They were soul mates from the start and became inseperable.Unfortunately we lost our wonderful Rocky to a torsion he was only 5.But he had brought Lia out of her shell and what a character she was.Through Rocky and Lia we became great friends with Rhian and Steve so we've a lot to thank our dogs for.Lia was on her own for a while then along came this bungle of fluff called Jake,he thought Lia was wonderful as did we all and Lia finally had another friend, even if she did put him in his place quite often!!!!!! We lost our beautiful Lia before Christmas at the grand age of 14.We all miss her so very much. For a while Jake didn't know how to behave but hes getting better now.So here we are up to date with my 3rd Blanik Jake who will be 8 in July.We should have a party with his brother Mr amazing Louis and all Jakes Blanik family who we see nearly every week.My Little Soldier Jake is soldiering on having fun going out and about up the mountain with Me Rhian and all his Blanik frinds. So a big thank you to Rhian, who all those years ago trusted us enough with Rocky,Lia and Jake.

Thank you for your kind words, but 3 "Blanik's?" You must be a gluten for punishment!!! I seriously could never have wished for better owners for my "kids" or better friends. We do all owe the dogs so much.

Aww, so moving and such a lovely and well written presentation of how your family came to be. (ClaireD)
