Matron On The Ward

Lexi has now been promoted to Matron while looking after my Mum,It was Mum that started saying Matron on the ward as Lexi was flying upstairs to see her,after the nurse had been.  Lexi wouldn't settle till she'd been up inspecting what had been going on which Mum thought was highly amusing.Jake bless him won't go upstairs so hasn't seen much of her but Mums getting a lot better now so Jake will soon be playing his little ball game with her.

Finally Happy New Year

New years eve was fun,it went as we all wanted it to.We all got together had a few drinks and even went to the pub for a couple of hours getting back for 10 pm before any fireworks went off,even Mum enjoyed going out.We all managed to stay up till midnight !!!! something we haven't done for years,so we threw Paul out at a minute to twelve and he let our New Year in,so be it on his head if its a crap one.

Lots of Pressies

Jake and Lexi say thank you to Rhian,Carrie,Sharon and other friends for all their pressies which they love and couldn't wait to get to them.Mum stayed with us and we thought we would have a quiet Christmas this year but Lexi thought different !!!! She made Mum laugh quite a lot and even went up to bed with her.Jake also entertained her playing what else but little ball which he had Mum getting for him which of course she did.So both Jake and Lexi helped all of us smile this Christmas and we all got through it without too many tears.Thanks to Rhian and Carrie for thinking of us, where would we all be without our friends x 

Harley's Christmas Visit

It was lovely to get a visit off Matt and Harley today and what a handsome boy he is so thought I'd share a few pics of him.Of course Jake and Lexi had to stay in the garden they wouldn't have been impressed at Harley being in their house let alone him playing with their toys,drinking their water and having a bit of their food !!!! But their Mummy having cuddles off him would have just been too much.So thought I'd better put some pics on of Jake and Lexi cos if they read this blog and only see Harley on it then I'm in trouble.
